Session One Begins!!

Greeting the bus as it pulls up the hill.

Sunday was so filled with joy as campers began arriving at Camp! We were all so happy to see old friends and meet new ones - the excitement was palpable!

The opening campfire was a tremendous amount of fun. Every cabin group took turns getting on stage to introduce themselves and every group had a song, skit or dance to perform!

Everybody went to bed in good spirits, tired from the exciting day and needing a good rest for the next busy day - 50's day, with a sock hop, bowling and much more!

May Respite Weekend.

What a fun, busy weekend at Camp! We started out our Saturday morning with breakfast and a hike. We then had a fun, messy time tie-dyeing t-shirts, which all came out beautifully!

Most of our afternoon was spent in and out of the pool. Mostly in! We took music and arts and crafts up to the pool with us, so when the campers weren't in the water, they were hanging out and relaxing in the shade!

After dinner, we donned the bug spray and headed to the campfire pit. Sitting around the fire, we sang a lot of songs and roasted marshmallows!

Sunday was another great day. More hikes, more swimming and more crafts - including making Mother's Day cards, followed by a delicious barbecue.

April Respite Weekend

We just enjoyed a beautiful, hot and sunny weekend up at Camp. It was wonderful to see our returning campers, as well as welcome many new campers!


Our days were jam-packed with fun activities. We went on a number of hikes, played basketball, worked in the garden, played in the playground, watched a movie as well as doing some baking and working various arts and crafts.


On Saturday night, we sat around a campfire together and roasted marshmallows, sang songs and played guitar!

We are currently working on a sign for our garden! Campers did a great job decorating the letters.

Welcome to the new Camp Krem blog!

My name is Christina Krem and I will be taking over from Jon and Andrea, when they leave, as the Year-Round Program Director. After working at Camp for the last four summers (three years as a counselor and one as Program Director and Female Counselor Coordinator) I am incredibly excited to be involved with Camp year round, it really is a dream come true!

This is going to be an exciting year. I will keep the blog updated with photos and information from our respite weekends, summer camp, year-round trips and overnights!
